The Most Important Message

9/27/12

During the next couple of months, we will see two men battle each other for the title “President of the United States”.  We hear often from analysts, news rooms, and journalists that the message that each candidate has is going to be the key subject of the election.

People of our Nation want to hear a promise in their message that makes sense, a message of truth, a truth that will not be broken. The sad truth is, almost all candidates break the promises that they once held high during an election.  It has almost become the norm for a man or woman to promise something that they know they cannot keep in the future.

But we have a promise from Jesus Christ that will not be broken.  It’s a message that has been given to us for over 2000 years now.  This message of truth can be found in the Bible.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

This is the most important message you will ever hear!  Jesus Christ loved you so much that He died so that you could inherit eternal life.  The following are passages taken straight from the Bible:

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord Romans 6:23

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:9

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

My friend, if you have never accepted Christ as your personal Saviour, why don’t you put your faith in Him right now? Pray the following prayer in your heart:

Lord Jesus, I believe that you are God, that you died for my sin, and that you rose again from the dead. I know that I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sin. I invite you to be my personal Saviour. I am placing my trust in you alone, and I now accept your free gift of eternal life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

If you have already given your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, then be sure to spread the Most Important Message to the lost world.

Be encouraged today, the message of Christ is TRUTH!
