How Can I Serve?
Bible Baptist Church is not just a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church family. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Bible Baptist Church.
Nursery
The Nursery Ministries of Bible Baptist Church provide a loving and fun atmosphere for children while Mom and Dad enjoy growing through the teaching and preaching of God’s Word. The nursery is safe, clean, and well cared for by our nursery caregivers who will love and watch each child. Nursery care is provided for every service for children up to age 3.
Patch the Pirate Club
On Wednesday evenings, children’s ministries at Bible Baptist Church takes on a whole new twist. The Patch the Pirate Club is a wonderful program for children ages 7-12 years old. This program is geared to teach young children to develop a deeper relationship with the Lord by having a daily devotional time. Conservative and meaningful music is also taught and occasional programs are presented to the adults in the main auditorium.
Pee Wee Patch Club
Similar to the Patch the Pirate Club, this class is for children ages 4-6 years old. Games, crafts, songs, and Bible stories are all used to teach children about God and how much He loves them! This class meets every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm
Men’s Prayer Group
Each Sunday Morning at 9:30 am the men of Bible Baptist Church have a prayer meeting at our church. The needs of our church, community and country are faithfully brought to God in prayer.
Women’s Prayer Group
Each Sunday Evening at 6:10 pm the women of Bible Baptist Church meet to encourage, equip and challenge each other for a growing relationship with Jesus Christ in the midst of our church community. Come and join them this Sunday and receive a blessing as well.
Soul-winning
Striving to Obey Christ’s command to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. Bible Baptist Church has set aside Tuesday evenings of each month for this purpose. We encourage the experienced and the non-experienced soul-winner to come participate in this exciting endeavor. Residential areas, rest homes, and hospitals provide wonderful opportunities to meet new people. Those who participate never regret their involvement. We have several soul-winning programs, as well as classes on how to present the gospel to others.
Bus Ministry
Every Sunday Morning and Wednesday Evening, Bible Baptist Church sends it’s vans out to the surrounding areas of Sophia, Crab Orchard, Mabscott, and Beckley to provide free transportation for children and their parents to come to church. We offer a safe, caring and fun filled environment for the children.
